Holly Buniger
Director of Operations · Elite Cleaning Service · Grand Junction, CO
Holly Buniger is Director of Operations at Elite Cleaning Service, where she oversees daily operations, service quality, and team development across every commercial account in Grand Junction and the Western Slope. Her work is the reason Elite’s clients see consistent service from one week to the next.
The Journey
Holly has worked at Elite Cleaning Service for more than eight years. She started as an hourly cleaner. She advanced to lead supervisor through performance, not position. She now runs the operations side of the business as Director of Operations.
That trajectory shapes how she manages the company. She has cleaned the buildings, supervised the crews, audited the work, and trained the staff who do all three today. Eight years at one company is the kind of continuity competitors rarely match. When an Elite supervisor talks to a client about a problem on a floor, the chain of accountability behind that conversation runs back through Holly’s notebook, not a new manager’s first guess.

What Holly owns day to day
The Director of Operations role at Elite covers the parts of the business clients don’t see directly but feel every week. Holly’s work runs across five overlapping responsibilities:
- Daily operations across all client accounts. She’s the operational hub for Elite’s full portfolio of commercial buildings, tracking which crews ran which sites and what came out of each shift.
- Team mentorship and training. From frontline cleaners through supervisors, Holly runs the training programs and the day-to-day coaching that keeps service quality consistent.
- Service standards and inspection protocols. The weekly supervisor inspections Elite is known for running on Holly’s standards. She designed the checklists, and she enforces them.
- Client quality concerns. When a client has a service issue, Holly is the escalation point. The call gets answered, not routed.
- Consistent delivery without follow-up. She runs the operation so clients don’t have to chase anyone. The next visit is what the last visit was.

Areas of expertise
Holly’s day-to-day work concentrates on five domains:
- Commercial cleaning quality control: weekly inspections, deficiency tracking, immediate correction.
- Operations management and scheduling: crew assignments, route optimization, and account-level cadence.
- Team mentorship and staff development: training pipelines, supervisor development, and retention.
- Client satisfaction and account retention: escalation handling, account check-ins, contract renewals.
- Industry-vertical cleaning standards: healthcare, office, and industrial environments. Different protocols, same accountability.
Why clients trust Holly's team
The supervisor checklists Elite runs against were designed by Holly. The weekly inspection cadence was set by Holly. The training program every new cleaner goes through is Holly’s training program. Clients don’t see Holly day to day. They see consistency, and consistency is Holly’s product.
That’s also why Holly is active in the Grand Junction business community as Vice President of one of the local BNI chapters. Her work doesn’t stop at Elite’s accounts. She helps other Western Slope businesses think about service quality, accountability, and the kind of operational discipline Elite tries to model.
